Welcome to Vivo Music, we offer in person and online music lessons for kids in Northern, VA servicing Sterling, Ashburn, Great Falls, Herndon, and more. Whether your child is an absolute beginner or simply looking to improve, there is room for them at Vivo Music to learn, grow, and bring music to life. We specialize in the following:
Guitar Lessons
My approach to guitar lessons for kids include both practical and theoretical instruction. I help kids fall in love with the instrument and creative expression while also understanding some of the more technical aspects of playing it. I first fell in love with the guitar as a kid, and I’m passionate about helping other kids experience it as well!
Beginner Singing Lessons (ages 5 and up)
Singing lessons focus on foundational techniques and are tailored to each students vocal needs and musical preferences. I will create a well rounded vocalist. Lessons include breath technique, concentration on perfecting vowel sounds, diction, and much more.
Beginner Piano Lessons (ages 3-9)
The piano can seem daunting, but I make my piano lessons fun. Learning to play the piano is all about understanding the theory and technical aspect of the instrument, but also learning to play music that you love and keeps you coming back. That’s why in my piano lessons we incorporate both theory and practice!
About Me
Hi, I’m Juliana, the music teacher behind Vivo Music. I’ve been playing guitar and singing since I was 10 years old, and teaching it professionally for the last 10 years. I wrote my first song at 5 years old, and soon fell in love with music in a way that changed the course of my life. I continued to sing and play guitar in church, and in addition to writing, recording, and playing music — I’ve also developed a deep passion for others to discover the joy, creative outlet, and growth that comes with Music.

Yes, you will need your own instrument.
How much do you charge?
Starting at $40 for virtual lessons or at the instructor's home. $55 base price for lessons at the students home.
Where do lessons take place?
In instructors home, at students home, or virtual.
Do you make home visits?
Yes, but must live within my 3.5 mile radius.
